Haʻa means humble — and this tea carries that feeling with strength and an open heart.

Thoughtful gift for a friend ~ A quiet, heart-opening cup for everyday ritual.

Behind this cup is a friendship rooted in music and creative expression— a journey from hip hop to permaculture and entrepreneurship. Kenta and PaizLee first connected through the Honolulu music scene, building community with the intention to make positive long term contributions through creativity and entrepreneurship.

Together with his wife, Julia, Kenta began cultivating cacao in Laupāhoehoe on Hawaiʻi Island. What grew from that intention became Haʻa, a small farm rooted in humility, where cacao is tended within a living agroforest of more than 150 tropical species, guided by permaculture, regenerative practices, and a deep respect for Hawaiʻi.

Hawaiʻi-grown cacao represents only about 0.02% of the world’s supply—a rarity shaped by place, climate, and the hands that care for it. Through this small batch offering, that rarity is approached with reverence rather than scale.

There is a quietness to this space—a listening. A willingness to grow in relationship with the land, rather than impose upon it.

Brewed from sun-dried cacao husks, this tea offers a gentle, earthy warmth—subtly chocolatey, naturally caffeine-free, and deeply grounding. Each cup carries the imprint of that way of being; patient, intentional, and in harmony with its surroundings.

Kenta enjoys adding a touch each of cardamom, cinnamon, clove, ginger, black pepper, and vanilla—finished with a bit of honey.

PaizLee enjoys hugging a steamy cup of cacao tea made with alkaline water (and also Kenta's version w/ maple syrup & a splash of milk!)

Atlas Tea + Apothecary is a vessel—a space to stretch time in good company. Haʻa Cacao Tea is an offering that honors culture, relationship, and connection.

An invitation to slow down, sip with intention, and return to the quiet beauty of where ideas and connections grow..
