We are so incredibly grateful to be moved towards the relaunch of Atlas Tea + Apothecary and finally be able to pick up from 2021; the year that Atlas curator, PaizLee made her way back to the continent to be closer to her mother, Amelia, who's health had been slowly declining from advanced stage of lung disease due to lupus. After pulling through a series of health scares, we are pleased to report that Mom is in stable condition and is getting lots of love and regular visits from her 5 children, 8 grandchildren, extended family and friends.
This new chapter of Atlas blooms from a place of deeper clarity, integration, and devotion. What began as a physical sanctuary has since evolved into a living, breathing digital apothecary — a growing constellation of nature-based medicines prescribed by Mama Earth herself. Our offerings are designed to be both accessible and empowering, supporting each individual's journey to embody their inner healer.
From 2017 to 2021, we explored what Atlas could become: listening deeply to the needs of our community, identifying the spaces where care was missing, and learning how we might bridge those gaps. Through it all, our heart has remained steadfast — to offer Atlas Tea + Apothecary as a collaborative, healing space for Hawai'i, Los Angeles and beyond, nurturing and celebrating the shining stars that make up our vibrant collective.
By uplifting one another and magnifying the unique gifts of our collaborators, we have woven a medicine box made of mutual respect, sustainable practices, and sacred creative commerce, where it is more than mere products or services, but about the convergence of creative peaceful activism, spirit, and abundance moving together in harmony.
Through the blending of creativity, compassion, and peaceful action, our personal and collective medicines have the power to spark positive change, elevate consciousness, and challenge systems that no longer serve us. Whether it's through music, storytelling, tea ceremony, or ritual, we use our gifts to address vital issues, while always honoring the art of living as an act of sacred resistance and inspired evolution.
Since its inception in 2017, Atlas Tea + Apothecary has been a living vision board, a dialogue between Spirit and community. We've been blessed to host intimate tea seatings, curating spaces of wonder, healing, and inspiration. Through an invitation to participate in the Honolulu Biennial 2019, we had the opportunity to curate a series of tea time experiences with some of our Atlas collaborators to showcase our creative process while welcoming the community in our dialogue.
